Obituary: Brandi Marie Detrick, a resident of Wagoner, Oklahoma passed from this life at her Wagoner home on February 4, 2013 at the age of 34. Brandi was born on January 24, 1979 in Mountain View, California to James Edward Post and Dianna Burgess.
Brandi grew up in Northern California and attended school in the San Jose, California area. Brandi married the love of her life, Kelly Wayne Detrick on June 1, 2006 in Reno, Nevada. Brandi was a devoted homemaker and wife. She loved animals, which was complimented by her big heart. She was a special friend, mother, sister,and wife and will be missed by many.
Brandi is preceded in death by her father, James E. Post; by her infant daughter, Ashton Renae Detrick; by her maternal grandparents, Troy and Marie Burgess; her paternal grandparents, James and Edna Post.
She is survived by her husband, Kelly Detrick of the home; her daughter, Reanna Post of the home; a step-daughter, Jennifer Stotler of Bagdad, AZ; a step-son, Christopher Detrick of Las Vegas; by 5 brothers, Tim Burgess and wife Angie of Wagoner, Joe Upchurch and wife Misty of Wagoner, Jamie Post and wife Sheena of Muskogee, James Edward Post II of Virginia, Larry Post of Virginia; 3 sisters, Jodi Jones of Broken Arrow and Jason Jones of Texas, Cathy Johnson of Muskogee, and Amy Post of Virginia; her mother, Dianna Post of Muskogee; by 6 nieces, Tori Upchurch, Avery Post, Raely Post, Taylor Jones, Lucy Porter, and Brianna Post; 6 nephews, Justin Wilson, Dylan burgess, Jordan and Ryson Upchurch, Joshua Post and Tanner Jones; and by numerous extended family and many good friends.
A memorial service for Brandi will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Shipman Funeral Home in Wagoner.
The family has designated WAGS (Wagoner Animal Guardian Society) as appropriate for memorial contributions.
