Jesse Johnson passed this life on March 2nd 2010 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 75. He was born on September 3rd, 1934 to his parents Rufus “Red” Johnson and Delphia Pierce. Jesse graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1953. He has resided in Las Vegas since 1950 retiring from Caesors Palace in December of 1996 he worked as a carpenter. He is preceded in death by his parents Rufus “Red” and Delphia Johnson. He is survived by three children; Thomas Walsh, Karen Johnston and Delphia Thomas along with a host of many wonderful family and friends. Funeral Services for Jesse Johnson will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Pioneer Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Junior Mullins officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 19th, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Viewing will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Shipman Funeral Home Chapel.
